Assessment and Support Worker – Advocacy Sheffield, South Yorkshire £24,938 per annum – full and part time roles available Citizens Advice Sheffield, one of the largest Citizens Advice in the country, provides advice and advocacy. The advocacy service provides independent advocacy, working to the requirements of the Advocacy Charter, the Care Act, the Mental Health Act, the Mental Capacity Act and their relevant Codes of Practice, associated guidance and case law. We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Assessment and Support Worker. This role is an essential part of the service, providing the initial point of contact both for individual clients and professionals seeking to make a referral to our Advocacy Hub. Our ideal candidate will have previous experience of dealing with the public on the phone and through other digital means, and a flexible, organised approach.
