Lead Practitioner

Location: Barnsley

Salary: £32,220 - £43,590

Permanent, Full Time

About the role
As the Lead Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supporting and providing guidance and line management to our dedicated staff. You will also carry a small caseload of clients, engaging in case management, multi-agency collaboration, data analysis, and coordination of group work delivery. This is an on-site role; no hybrid working options are available. This role will require you to work across both sites, depending on capacity and need.As a Lead Practitioner, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the team and Area Managers
  • Providing guidance and line management to staff members
  • Carrying a small caseload of clients, offering case management and support ( If necessary)
  • Fostering collaboration with multiple agencies to enhance service delivery
  • Analysing data and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices
  • Coordinating the delivery of group work sessions, outreach and targeted pieces of work to improve health inequalities within Barnsley.
  • Adhering to national guidelines and provide the development of staff to provide exceptional care for people who use our service.
  • Supporting the team to achieve all KPI’s and targets.

Aquarius is a subsidiary of Waythrough. Aquarius is a Midlands-based charity supporting individuals to overcome the harms caused by drugs, alcohol and gambling. Aquarius has always held the view that people we support could resolve their problems with support and guidance and that people have the ability to find their own solutions to their problems.
