Are you passionate about counselling and supporting the next generation of counsellors?

We’re looking for a Senior Counselling Tutor to help shape and grow our counselling offer. Working alongside our Curriculum Manager, you’ll bring your expertise to the classroom by teaching on the Level 4 Counselling programme, while also mentoring and supporting our counselling team to develop their own teaching skills.

You’ll play a key role in making sure our courses are in compliance with exam board requirement, keep an eye on new developments in the world of counselling and education, and coordinate student placements so learners get the best possible experience. You’ll also have the chance to build connections with local agencies and partners to strengthen our provision.
If you’re ready to make a real impact and enjoy a role that’s as rewarding as it is varied, we’d love to hear from you!

We are passionate about the idea that we can keep on learning throughout our lives and specialise in courses for adults from 19 to 90. We have been doing this for over 100yrs and are one of London’s Specialist Institutes for Adult Learning. Courses run in the daytime, evening or weekend, meaning learning can fit around our student’s lives.

This organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of service users and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

How to Apply: Please send in your completed application form, including the supporting statement  saying how you meet the Person Specification and the recruitment monitoring form, to recruitment@marywardcentre.ac.uk

Deadline: Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and the vacancy will be closed once a suitable candidate is selected. We strongly encourage an early submission of your application.
