We are looking for a Study Manager to support and manage animal research projects within our Contract Research Unit (CRU) within RVC Business.
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, well organised individual who will support the planning, management and conduct of pre-clinical studies in compliance with the principles of Good Research Practice (GRP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) for the animal health and biomedical industry.
The role holder will assist with the planning and performance of research in accordance with the Home Office Animal (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 and associated licensing requirements. This role may also require assistance and support for the technical performance of procedures with animals as required by client projects under this legislation.
The role holder will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day performance of research studies alongside the technical personnel, including study planning, writing and review of protocols, performance of studies and production of reports, organization of resources, technical support, and administrative support for our numerous client projects.
A high level of organisational skills and record keeping, self-motivation with the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment are essential for this role.
