About us
We offer Short Breaks service for children with disabilities in variouse sites around Lancashire and Blackpool. There are weekend, after school and school holiday groups available and is for any child or young person with SEND aged 4-18. We also offer individual packages of care within a group setting from our base in Lostock Hall enabling children and young people aged from 4-18 to access a range of activities and develop skills including social communication and understanding. The service also operates an Advocacy service for young people in care for the Blackburn with Darwen Local Authorities.
About the role
The job role is an administrator in a busy service and the role will include:
- Working across Include Me 2 Service
- Supporting the manager with budget monitoring and collating invoices and expenditure on a weekly and monthly basis
- Monitor building maintenance and ensure that all checks are completed in a timely fashion
- Supervision of relevant staff
- Completing H&S returns and a GDPR audit to evidence compliance with requirements
- Maintaining a petty cash account
- Keeping track of rent and Housing Benefit accounts
- Supporting with reports for quarterly and annual reports
- Buying and keeping track of supplies for the services
- Administrative support to Managers and project staf
The post will be to take on the role of all financial aspects of the service and monitoring income and expenditure on an ongoing basis alongside the manager so a good understanding of finances is essential.
About you
Ideal Candidate's must haves:
- Administration experience
- Organisation, attention to detail and time management skills
- Proven substantial experience of using IT packages including word processing, spread sheets, databases, Windows applications.
- Experience of minute taking
- Experience of operating financial systems including petty cash, budget monitoring and control.
- Ability to work as part of a team and/or using own initiative.
