The Role

An exciting new opportunity has arisen within our small but growing fundraising team for a dynamic
Corporate Partnerships Manager to support the growth of our developing corporate partnerships
portfolio. We are investing in a dedicated role to cultivate and secure long-term partnerships with
Wirral and Liverpool City Region businesses.

This role will play a pivotal role in The Hive Youth Zone’s Fundraising Team, developing our
fundraising capabilities and growing this income stream. The primary purpose is to generate
unrestricted income, by securing new corporate partnerships by aligning the charity with ESG
agendas, submitting formal applications for high value charity of the year opportunities and
tapping into the growing market of corporate foundations

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Fundraising & Communications and the
Philanthropy Manager to further develop our strategic approach to corporate fundraising, driving
growth, and expanding our donor base. We are looking for a results-oriented individual with a
proven track record in corporate fundraising or business development to build a sustainable

working towards an annual target. Specifics for each giving level and KPIs around donor
meetings, asks etc will be set annually, with a view to year-on-year growth.

• Proactively identify and engage companies not currently known to The Hive, particularly on

the Wirral rather than Liverpool.

• Secure support through a combination of corporate giving, CSR partnerships, and

employee volunteering, aligned with the ESG agendas of businesses.

• Demonstrate impact and value through clear metrics and case studies

• Deliver outstanding account management to cultivate and grow agreed existing corporate
relationships, focusing on retention, increased engagement, and uplift. This will include
developing tailored proposals and presentations to secure new patrons, partners,
sponsorships, and in-kind donations.

• Utilise Salesforce CRM to effectively manage the cultivation and stewardship journey of the

corporate donor pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and tracking of progress.

• Work with the wider fundraising and delivery teams to deliver engaging stewardship and

prospecting events that foster strong relationships with corporate partners.

• Comply with all policies and procedures regarding safeguarding, fundraising regulation,
codes of conduct, health and safety, and equality and diversity and ensure we comply
with GDPR standards.

• Be an active member of the team, carrying out any other reasonable duties as requested
by the management team, and operating in line with the values and principles of the
Youth Zone.
