This is a 1-year Fixed Term Contract in the first instance.
We are currently seeking a passionate Pre-Prep Assistant / Early Years Practitioner to join the Pre-Preparatory department at Highclare Preparatory School. This in an exciting opportunity for you to join our school and work within our excellent all year-round provision with children from 2-4 years of age.
Within Pre-Prep our pupils receive individual care promoting their spiritual, moral, intellectual, creative and physical development. We recognise the unique qualities of each student and encourage social responsibility and respect for others.
The children are taught in a purpose-developed stimulating environment, safe and secure, but also benefiting from the facilities of the main school. The Pre-Prep children are at the beginning of their education and are introduced to play-based learning and gain confidence through involvement in department productions and concert.
The successful candidate should be passionate about children’s learning. The role is for 40 hours per week (8 hours a day), full year, on a shift pattern between 7:30am and 6:00pm.
To be considered for the post, you must hold an NVR Level 3 or equivalent in childcare.
The successful candidate will be supported by a strong team of experienced staff who are dedicated to maintaining our unique atmosphere and ethos.
