and  difficulties.  The  college  offers  a  wide  range  of  programmes  that  are  tailored  to  each
individual’s needs.

Landmarks  operates  from  several  sites  across;  Nottinghamshire,  Derbyshire  and  South
Yorkshire, with our main site located in Eckington, S21 4EF.

Our  staff  are  required  to  work  on  a  range  of  different  sites,  including;  college  campuses,
employer’s  premises  or  communities  local  to  your  learners  home  -  therefore  willingness  to
travel is essential. There may be a requirement to transport learners in your own car, insurance
implications are reimbursed. Mileage and expenses are provided for travel during the working
day.

Job Purpose:
Our Integrated Therapies Manager will lead on the delivery, development, and evaluation of
integrated therapy provision for learners aged 16–25 with SEND. Working as part of a multi-
disciplinary team, the role will ensure learners achieve their Education, Health and Care Plan
(EHCP) outcomes and maximise

independence, inclusion, and personal development. This role brings the opportunity to
shape and develop an innovative therapy service within a growing specialist college.

Main Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include, but are not restricted to:

Clinical

•  Provide specialist speech and language therapy assessment, diagnosis, and

intervention to learners with complex communication needs in line with EHCP
requirements.

•  Lead on developing and delivering evidence-based therapy programmes, adapting

approaches to individual EHCP outcomes and learner aspirations.

•  Support learners with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), including
low- and high-tech solutions, and provide training for staff in their effective use.
•  Contribute specialist reports for EHCP reviews, tribunals, and multi-agency meetings.
•  Ensure therapy delivery aligns with RARPA principles and supports preparation for

adulthood outcomes.

•  Act as a source of expert clinical advice to colleagues, families, and external

professionals.

Leadership and Service Development

•  Line management of the integrated therapy team including Speech and Language

Therapists, and Occupational Therapists.

•  Provide clinical supervision, mentoring, and support to Band 5/6 therapists.
•  Lead service development projects, embedding best practice in communication-

friendly environments across the college (e.g. 5 Good Communication Standards).

•  Contribute to strategic planning of therapy services, ensuring alignment with

Landmarks’ vision and quality improvement priorities.

•  Audit and evaluate therapy provision, using outcome measures and learner voice to

evidence impact.

•  Complete session visits to review the implementation of therapy resources,

equipment and interventions.

Collaborative Working

•  Work closely with teaching, support, and therapy colleagues to integrate

communication goals into curriculum and daily routines.

•  Deliver staff training and workshops to build confidence in supporting communication

needs.

•  Engage with families and carers to promote generalisation of communication skills

beyond the college setting.

•  Liaise with external agencies, including NHS, local authorities, and specialist services,

to ensure continuity of care.

§  Contribute to and implement organisational Development Plan objectives.
§  Working with the Director of Learner Welfare and Progression, ensure the college’s work
is of a high standard and can be demonstrated clearly to inspectors, visitors, or families.

§  Provide reports, information, and administrative support as directed.
§  Undertake any other responsibilities, at the discretion of the Director of Learner Welfare

and Progression, and the Principal.

§  Ensure the well-being of all participants in Landmarks care, training and educational

programmes, particularly the well-being of people with disabilities and learning difficulties
§  Ensure good channels of communication between Landmarks and other agencies with an

interest or involvement in the welfare of people with disabilities.

§  Establish and maintain good communication and relationships with the parents and

carers of participants with disabilities.
