This is a fantastic opportunity to join our expanding team in a newly created post, as we strive to meet the needs of Young Homeless People

Rush House is an established and respected organisation that develops its services in response to the needs of the most vulnerable people in Rotherham and surrounding areas. We are looking to appoint to several different positions including a Keyworker.

KEY WORKER

Based at: Rotherham

Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary -  £27,417 per annum

Rush House is a non-profit charity, supporting young people ages 16-25 with accommodation and wraparound support to give them the best opportunity to succeed, offering person centred support tailored to each individuals need. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Key Worker to join our team providing onsite support to vulnerable young people. You must have a positive and enthusiastic approach and willingness to engage with Young People particularly at weekends and evenings.

We are looking for someone who has a good understanding of the issues faced by homeless people and those with complex needs and can demonstrate the skills needed to motivate and engage with this vulnerable client group.

The successful candidates will have verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to equal opportunities.

Applicants should be aware that duties might involve some lone working supported by relevant policies and procedures. As a 24-7 service the role will involve some public holidays to support vulnerable young people who have experienced homelessness.
