About the Role

We’re looking for an organised, people-focused Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our fantastic People team. This is a permanent, full time position working on a hybrid basis with 2-3 days per week from our Selly Oak office.

In this role, you’ll work closely with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team to attract, engage, and recruit diverse talent across the organisation. You will coordinate end-to-end recruitment activity, ensure a positive candidate experience, and help deliver inclusive, compliant recruitment processes.

This is a great opportunity for someone with recruitment coordination or resourcing experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to build a career in talent acquisition within a values-led organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and support effective recruitment strategies.
  • Promote job opportunities and proactively source candidates using job boards, databases, social media, and direct sourcing tools.
  • Support screening and shortlisting of applications and coordinate interviews.
  • Ensure candidates receive timely, clear, and professional communication throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Support recruitment events, careers fairs, and employer branding initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Talent Acquisition team to deliver best practice and inclusive recruitment processes.
  • Ensure all recruitment activity complies with safer recruitment, GDPR, and relevant regulatory requirements (e.g. CQC, Ofsted).

About You

We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and passionate about inclusive recruitment.

You will have:

  • Experience supporting recruitment processes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates.
  • Confidence using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment systems.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • A commitment to delivering a positive, inclusive candidate experience.
  • Knowledge of safer recruitment practices, GDPR, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • The ability to manage multiple vacancies, prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines.
