To facilitate our continued growth, we are looking for an exceptionally organised and highly self-motivated individual to join our People Services team to support ongoing recruitment activities for internal permanent positions.  
You’ll play a key role in ensuring we attract the best talent and maintain a robust recruitment and onboarding process that underpins the delivery of high-quality services to our customers. 
This role would suit an individual with previous recruitment resourcing experience who thrives on being organised and enjoys working with people.  You'll have proven experience managing shifting priorities, multitasking with ease and maintaining effective diary management, demonstrating flexibility in a fast-paced environment while offering excellent customer service. 
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract that has the potential to lead to a permanent job opportunity and further development. ​

Key Responsibilities

  • Support with the delivery of recruitment activity as directed by the Recruitment Lead.
  • Adhere to SOP process and guidance relating to recruitment activity.
  • Maintain and update SOPs pertaining to own area of work as directed by the Recruitment Lead.
  • Complete the process to advertise all vacancies externally on all recruitment channels.
  • Complete the HR applicant screening process, as required, to determine candidate suitability for each role.
  • Maintain up-to-date candidate notes, feedback and information on the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Ensure the effective progression of all job vacancies through the recruitment process.
  • Schedule interviews.
  • Assist with interviews as requested.
  • Provide feedback to unsuccessful job applicants constructively and professionally.
  • Support the Recruitment Lead with the coordination of role-specific recruitment/assessment days.
  • Make job offers to successful candidates in line with SOP and as directed by the Recruitment Lead.
  • Complete pre-employment and compliance checks, such as obtaining references and Right to Work screening in line with internal policy and relevant legislation/ regulatory requirements.
  • Use internal systems, including the PeopleHR ATS, to track applicant progress and support onboarding of staff through liaison with the wider HR team.
  • Become an expert in PeopleHR ATS, troubleshoot system problems and support with the development of the ATS usage.
  • Complete data logging about recruitment activity in line with Management Information requirements.
  • Actively engage with social media to promote specific job vacancies to attract and source new talent, for example, industry-specific Facebook groups.
  • Support the Recruitment Lead with project work as directed.
  • Liaise with third parties and suppliers in the course of delivering the day-to-day recruitment process and tasks.
  • Identify and escalate any potential conflicts of interest involving candidates or customers.
  • Support freelance recruitment as directed.
  • Manage the recruitment inbox and answer recruitment-related queries in a timely manner.

Other Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an understanding of TQUK internal processes, products and services, as well as the wider educational landscape.
  • Build an understanding of our internal departments to support our search for the perfect candidates.
  • Manage data: inputting, filing and monitoring.
  • Work to improve and streamline processes and integrate the outcomes of your own work.
  • Undertake other duties considered within your skill and competence to assist the smooth running of the business as required.

Essential Skills/ Experience/ Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience of coordination and diary management
  • Level 2 English and Maths qualifications (or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have sound IT skills to support core role functions
  • Have sound judgement and decision-making skills.

Desirable Skills/ Experience/ Qualifications

  • At least 12 months of proven recruitment resourcing experience.
  • Level 2 Certificate in Recruitment Resourcing.
  • Experience of using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and/or HR Information System.
  • Have some previous knowledge of the awarding and assessing industry.
