What You’ll Do:

Working as part of our friendly team, you’ll:

  • Clean a wide range of areas including kitchens, classrooms, bathrooms, dormitories, sports facilities and more
  • Tidy, vacuum, dust, mop, and remove rubbish – keeping all areas clean, hygienic and welcoming
  • Deep clean boarding houses at the start and end of term
  • Support special events (e.g., Open Mornings, Founderstide), and assist during holiday lets
  • Use both manual and powered cleaning equipment
  • Wear provided PPE and follow health and safety protocols

This role involves some occasional weekend work and may require flexibility to support across different areas of the school site.

What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

  • A friendly, helpful and reliable attitude
  • Ability to work well on your own and as part of a team
  • Willingness to take initiative and prioritise tasks
  • Commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality
  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
  • Experience with cleaning equipment and materials

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of COSHH (training can be provided)
  • Experience in a school or similar setting

Working Arrangements:

  • Full year working, 30 hours per week
  • Typical hours are Monday to Friday 6.00am to 12.30pm (have the afternoons to yourself!)

  • £19,864 (Full time equivalent of £24,830)
