Are you passionate about sparking curiosity in young minds and nurturing a love for nature and discovery? Do you thrive in outdoor learning environments and believe science is best experienced hands-on—even without a lab?
We’re looking for a dynamic and imaginative Science and Forest School Teacher to join our forward-thinking primary school. While we currently don’t have a dedicated science lab, we’re on an exciting journey of development, with plans to build one in the coming years. In the meantime, our beautiful outdoor spaces and creative teaching ethos offer endless opportunities to bring science to life.
What We Offer:
- A thriving Forest School program with access to woodland and outdoor learning areas
- A chance to shape the future of science education in our school
- Supportive leadership and a collaborative staff team
- The opportunity to be part of a growing school with big ambitions
What We’re Looking For:
- Degree or equivalent in the relevant teaching area
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching students with SEND across a range of needs and age groups.
- Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies and personalised learning
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Someone who can inspire awe and wonder through creative, resourceful teaching
- A team player excited to help build our future science lab and curriculum
- Experience or training in Forest School (or willingness to train)
If you’re ready to make science magical—even without microscopes—and believe the forest is the best classroom of all, we’d love to hear from you!
