The role will support the Chief Strategy and Governance Officer to ensure the governance framework is administered effectively, including paper preparation and distribution, ensuring minutes and actions are tracked. You will also be ensuring our policies and procedures are closely followed and reviewed as necessary. You will work closely with the PA to the CEO on a day to day basis providing cover as and when required for the Executive team.
About You:Where you are likely to be at the moment;
- Experienced in providing executive support to Trustees as well as Executive Teams
- Experience in and with a good knowledge of governance frameworks, meetings management and good document control.
- Experienced in forward planning, ensuring that senior leaders have what they need in order to discharge their responsibilities appropriately.
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Excellent attention to detail
Knowledge and experience:· Knowledge and experience of governance frameworks and compliance at preferably in the charity or non-profit sector.
· Knowledge and experience in working with Boards and sub committee structures, facilitating meetings to enable discharge of responsibilities
· Experience of building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders
· Working on your own and as part of a team to meet key deadlines
· Flexible approach to work
· Experience in working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
· Excellent IT skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Vision, NEWT and Moodle

What we offerWorking week:35 hours Monday – Friday
Work base:Although NEBOSH offices in Leicestershire (close to Fosse Park and M1) are considered as your work base, we have adopted hybrid working practices (however, attendance will be required at the office on a regular basis for face to face meetings).
Salary:£35,000 per annum
