We are seeking Senior Support Workers / Personal Assistants to provide essential cover for community-based locations, including Wigan, Chorley, Preston, Bury, and surrounding areas. Whether it’s to cover sickness, annual leave, or other temporary absences, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring continuity of care for those who need it most.

About the Role:

You will be stepping into different environments to provide support for individuals with varying needs, including complex health needs, mental health conditions, autism spectrum disorder and behaviours that challenge.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering high-quality, compassionate care and support tailored to each individual
Assisting with daily living tasks, personal care, and promoting independence
Supporting individuals with managing challenging behaviours and complex health conditions
Encouraging social inclusion, building relationships, and improving quality of life
Providing cover during sickness, annual leave, and other periods of absence

About You:

A compassionate, patient, and flexible approach to care
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

Previous experience in supporting individuals with complex care needs,mental health,autism, andbehaviours that challenge
A valid driving licenceand access to your own vehicle (as travel between various locations is essential)
