This is a development role.

Linden Ward is an 18 bedded unit. The ward strives to deliver the highest quality of care to our patients and their families during their inpatient stay.

We are looking for a dynamic Nurse to join our team.

To be responsible for promoting and implementing practice, conducive to the development of high quality patient care, by providing professional clinical and managerial leadership.

Main duties of the job

Leadership, lead and deliver safe care, be a visible clinical lead on shift and a point of contact for staff, patients and families.

Review of incidents and implement learning, act as deputy in the absence of the ward manager. Please see attached JD and PS

Education & Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • RGN
  • Teaching qualification or course relevant to speciality or studying towards
  • Evidence of relevant post registration and training
Desirable criteria
  • Relevant Diploma/Degree or equivalent
  • A1 award or equivalent Y

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

Essential criteria
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to a range of people
  • Leadership ability
  • Time Management of self and others
  • Demonstrate an ability to problems solve complex situations
  • Experience of change management

Experience

  • Previous experience within relevant clinical area
