The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Dynamics Systems Administrator to join us on a 12-month fixed term contract. In this role, you’ll ensure our digital infrastructure is secure, high-performing and aligned with our mission. You’ll champion data quality and service excellence, working with suppliers and teams to resolve issues and unlock efficiencies. With a sharp eye for innovation, you’ll identify opportunities to evolve our systems—translating needs into smart, scalable solutions that drive insight and impact. You’ll foster a tech-first culture, empowering colleagues through training and tools like automation and AI and maintain a dynamic knowledge base that supports resilience and growth.
We have offices in London and Telford, we are open to this role being based in one of these locations or carried out remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Systems Management and Support
- Maintain and monitor systems security, availability and performance
- Monitor data quality across all databases and touchpoints, including sync and refresh processes
- Manage and resolve problems and service requests within agreed service levels
- Work with key suppliers to deliver exceptional service according to defined levels
- Systems Evolution and Enhancement
- Identify opportunities for change to meet organisational goals and build business cases that reflect value and ROI
- Translate requirements to technical solutions
- Work across all teams to identify and define business critical reporting
- Interrogate data to create meaningful insights which drive operational, management and board level decision making
- Tech Champion
- Build a tech-first culture with skilled and confident users
- Empower teams to identify inefficiencies and work with them to convert to opportunities, particularly with automation and AI tools such as Copilot
- Deliver internal training to upskill teams and cascade knowledge, building our resilience
- Maintain an accessible and dynamic knowledge base
To succeed in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
Skills and knowledge
- Hands-on skills with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement/Sales, and ideally Customer Service and Omnichannel
- Comfortable working with Power Platform environments and Dynamics Dataverse
- Sound knowledge of ERP systems, ideally Dynamics Nav/Business Central
- Skilled in managing testing, wave release cycles and deployments
- Demonstrable skills in data analysis, visualisation and BI reporting
- Good current understanding of data compliance, privacy and protection
- Innovative and skilled at looking for solutions and opportunities
- Ability to communicate complex or technical ideas simply and effectively
- Ability to prioritise workload, work under pressure and meet deadlines

- Demonstrable interest in the charity sector, corporate responsibility, social enterprise and In Kind Direct’s area of work
Relevant experience
Essential
- Working with integrated business critical systems, including MS Dynamics 365
- Managing Microsoft/CoPilot 365 and Azure AD environments
- Managing support and change requests
- Managing third party suppliers and vendors
- Being an approachable collaborator at all levels of an organisation
Desirable
- Understanding of e-commerce platforms, ideally Magento
- Working with BI and analytical tools such as Power BI, Jet reports, Quicksight, Tableau
- Working with AWS EC2
- Working in the not-for-profit sector
