Senior Housing worker (Focussed Intervention Housing Team)

What will the role look like?
As Senior Focussed Intervention Team (Housing) Worker you are required toprovide additional support to the Team Manager in leading the FIT HousingTeam based with Leeds Housing Options (LHO). You will directly line manageFIT Housing Workers providing guidance and support to FIT Housing Workersand Forward Leeds staff members. You will also carry a small caseload. TheFIT Housing Team work on a one-to-one basis with people who are intreatment with Forward Leeds, meeting them in their own homes and in thecommunity, promoting empowerment and independence, as part of the widerForward Leeds team and service.
What we are looking for?
The successful applicant will have a good knowledge of how poor housing and potential homelessness can impact on someone’s ability to manage their alcohol and substance use.
They will understand and have experience of safeguarding and risk management, recovery planning, therapeutic interventions that support people to address their alcohol and drug use, housing pathways and solutions. They will need to be confident in their abilities to achieve excellent outcomes, be self-motivated as well as having the skill to motivate.
