Criminal Justice Worker - Better Lives

We have an exciting opportunity to join our established Criminal Justice Team at Better Lives Islington’s Drug and Alcohol service.
Which operates out of three sites:309 Gray’s Inn Road, London, WC1X 8QS, 99-101 Seven Sisters Road, London, N7 7QP, 28b King Henry’s Walk, London, N1 4PB
Our aim is to develop new and strengthen our existing Criminal Justice pathways into drug and alcohol treatment for people affected by homelessness, mental health, domestic violence, and experience of the Criminal Justice system.
Currently we are looking for 2 Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinators to join us at a time of exciting development and transformation across our London services. You will be working across our established Criminal Justice satellites such as Probation, Approved Premises, Prisons, Courts, Police Stations etc. You will be an integral member of one of our dynamic treatment team working closely with team leaders and partners developing and delivering tailored support including recovery planning and case management to enable service users to make positive changes across all stages of their recovery journey.
You will provide targeted support for service users, from brief interventions through to structured treatment, ensuring that every recovery journey is tailored to individual priorities. You will take a “whole person” holistic approach, ensuring that every service user’s package of care encompasses all areas of their wellbeing, not just their substance use, to achieve the best possible outcomes for every person.
