Veterinary Surgeon

AI, ET, OPU/ICSI Centre 

 

We are looking for a veterinary surgeon to join our team of four resident stud vets.    Previous experience in routine reproductive management of mares is beneficial, and knowledge of the basics of embryo transfer and neonatal management would also be an advantage.

This role will suit vets with an interest in equine breeding or equine internal medicine, particularly those who wish to develop their knowledge and skills in equine reproduction, with the possibility of pursuing further qualifications. You will work closely alongside our resident vets, providing an excellent opportunity to improve your skills with continuous support, mentorship, and encouragement.

Twemlows Stud is one of the UK’s leading sport horse reproduction centres, where you will be involved with the most up-to-date breeding techniques, including OPU and ICSI. Our foal unit and resident foals offer a diverse range of neonatal cases, providing valuable hands-on experience. We are also actively involved in several research projects aimed at advancing knowledge in equine reproduction.
