Job Description Job title: Data and Engagement Officer Reporting to: Head of Fundraising and Philanthropy Charity Headquarters, Trevithick Downs, Newquay 37.5 hours per work (some flexibility required) Location: Hours: Job Purpose Responsible for segmenting supporter data within Cornwall Air Ambulance’s CRM system, to help the charity transform the way we understand, engage with, and inspire our supporters. Utilising data insights to map and optimise the supporter journey, ensuring every interaction brings people closer to our mission by maximising donor engagement and inspiring long-term giving. The postholder will also act as a dedicated ambassador for regular givers, championing their experience and ensuring they feel recognised, valued, and closely connected to the charity’s lifesaving mission. Key Responsibilities Supporter Journey Mapping & Engagement 1. recommendations touchpoints and make data-informed Utilising our CRM system, Raisers Edge, to analyse supporter data to understand behaviours, motivations and needs at every stage of the donor journey – from first contact to long-term advocacy. Develop and maintain detailed supporter maps to identify opportunities for acquisition, engagement and retention. Track engagement improvements. Act as the internal voice of our supporters, championing their needs, feedback and experience across the organisation In conjunction with fundraising and marketing teams design multi-channel donor engagement plans that are personalised and aligned with the charity’s mission. Assisting in the creation of compelling fundraising materials and content ideas (eg donation appeal, newsletters and social media), ensuring consistency of messaging and maximising the impact of donor outreach. Support the gold standard stewardship of Cornwall Air Ambulance by utilising data analysis to assist with understanding and improving interactions with all our supporters, such as one- off and regular donors, alongside community, businesses, event attendees and major donors Lead initiatives to gather, analyse and act on supporter feedback (eg surveys, focus groups, engagement metrics). for 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. Use CRM and engagement tools (eg Raiser’s Edge, Power BI) to gather, analyse and visualise supporter data. To inform strategic decision-making provide regular reports on donor demographics, area mapping, campaign performance and financial outcomes. Identify segmentation opportunities and audience trends to drive more targeted and impactful communications. Collaborate with the fundraising team to design and implement campaigns that resonate with different donor segments, based on data insights from Raiser’s Edge. Strengthen relationships with existing donors by providing them with personalised experiences, recognition, and updates on the impact of their contributions. Working closely with the Information Governance Committee, ensuing data adheres to data protection and GDPR legislation, and in line with the charity’s privacy policy. Regular Giving 1. Act as the primary ambassador for Cornwall Air Ambulance's regular givers, ensuring they feel valued and connected to the mission, through developing and implementing an ambitious all- year round Regular Giving plan. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to develop acquisition and retention plans for regular giving to increase long term sustainable income therefore maximising donor lifetime value. Manage Cornwall Air Ambulance’s periodic raffles, with the aim of nurturing and developing donors into regular givers. Arrange and host regular face-to-face visits to Cornwall Air Ambulance Headquarters for regular givers to thank and celebrate their support. Representing Cornwall Air Ambulance at supporter events inspiring others to support our mission. The postholder will be part of the Fundraising Team and will be required to support the wider Fundraising team in the delivery and attendance of flagship fundraising events throughout the year.
