Operations & HR Manager
BS3 Community Development is looking to bring experience to the Operations and HR function within our charity.
Who are we… BS3 Community Development is a well-established community anchor organisation working across two sites at the Southville Centre, Southville and the Chessel Centre, Bedminster. Our charity aims to improve the health, wellbeing & happiness of the people in the BS3 postcode area, which we do through running our nurseries, community centres, café, and community activities. We are looking to strengthen our team in Finance and Operations to help us achieve our goals.

We are looking for a motivated and energetic person to join our small team as an Operations and HR Manager predominantly based at The Chessel Centre, Chessel Street in Bristol, BS3, initially on a fixed term contract for one year.
Who you are…Your role will be crucial to the smooth running of our charity services specifically within the area of human resources. Supporting all staff in their employment journeys and maintaining established operational functions whilst bringing your experience to developing new processes.
We are looking for someone who has the right attitude and approach to work in a busy charity HR and operations environment. You should be trustworthy and an excellent communicator with the ability to prioritise and run with multiple tasks.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, M-F. Fixed-term for one year.
Rate of Pay: £30,521.45 per annum (£15.61/hour) plus benefits including subsidised early education childcare & training and development opportunities.
Location: The Chessel Centre, Chessel Street, Bristol BS3 3DP and The Southville Centre, Beauley Road, Bristol BS3 1QG
