POST TITLE: Healthy Mind Hub Manager HOURS OF WORK: 37.5 hours per week, including evenings and weekends SALARY: £37,000 - £39,000 per annum pro rata POST LOCATION: Trust Links and external sites across South East, Mid or South West Essex. Travel required across all sites (plus opportunity for working from home) REPORTS TO: REACH Service Manager RESPONSIBLE FOR: Area Leads, Co-production Workers, Project Workers, Admin Support Worker, Volunteers, and Peer Supporters Trust Links grows communities and transforms lives. Through our seven Growing Together community gardens across Essex, Healthy Mind Hub, MSE Recovery College, Trust Links Counselling (TLC), children and youth projects, and environmental workshops, we work with more than 4,000 people each year. We work in a person-centred, grassroots and recovery-focused way, helping to save lives every day and move people on to better lives, with the support of their peers and the wider community. The Healthy Mind Hubs provides holistic wellbeing activity-based group support, peer support and multiagency service delivery throughout Mid and South Essex, with the aim of preventing and reducing the demand on secondary mental health services. The Healthy Mind Hub works closely with the MSE Recovery College, Healthy Mind Community Connectors (employed by Mind), Growing Together, and services run by other organisations including Health Trainers, Citizens Advice, Advocacy and drug and alcohol support services. Delivery will be during the day, seven days per week and staff will be scheduled in advance to deliver on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year. The Healthy Mind Hub Manager will lead the development, delivery and performance of the service across all three areas: South East, Mid and South West Essex. The role involves managing a multidisciplinary team, overseeing quality and outcomes, and building strong partnerships within the VCSE and health sectors. The Manager will ensure co-production, inclusion, and person-centered delivery are embedded at every level. Main Duties Service Delivery & Co-ordination • Oversee the development and consistent delivery of the 6-week Healthy Mind Hub programme across areas • Ensure that sessions, assessments, referrals and group delivery are timely, accessible and well-managed • Line manage Area Leads and Administrative Support Worker • Lead a values-based, supportive culture that promotes learning, inclusion and lived experience • Ensure all staff receive appropriate supervision, reflective practice and training Performance Monitoring & Quality Assurance • Oversee referral processes, assessments, CRM input and MHSDS-compliant outcome tracking • Monitor KPIs and ensure delivery meets agreed service specifications • Support ongoing evaluation, feedback collection and improvement planning Strategic & Partnership Working • Act as key contact for commissioners, statutory and VCSE partners • Represent the service at meetings, events and networks across South East, Mid and South West Essex • Work closely with partners to align delivery and explore joint working Co-production & Inclusion • Embed the co-production framework and ensure peer involvement across delivery • Support Co-production Workers and volunteers to shape delivery and bring lived experience into decision-making and service delivery • Ensure services are accessible and inclusive to all communities Safeguarding & Risk Management • Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and risk is appropriately managed • Act as safeguarding lead for the Healthy Mind Hubs • Oversee staff compliance with Trust Links policies and protocols General • Support wider Trust Links initiatives and contribute to cross-organisational work • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mental health trends, VCSE opportunities and funding • Carry out other duties in line with the role as required PERSON SPECIFICATION: Essential • Experience managing mental health or community wellbeing services • Line management experience including supervision and staff development • Strong understanding of trauma-informed, strengths-based and person- centered approaches • Excellent organisational, planning and co-ordination skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage risk, safeguarding and complex referrals • • Collaborative, values-led and flexible • Ability to travel across MSE • Enhanced DBS check required IT confident and experienced in using data systems for monitoring Desirable • Experience in VCSE partnership working and/or service development • Relevant Health and Social Care Qualification at NVQ 4 or above • Experience of embedding co-production and peer support • Experience of system leadership • Experience of quality management to deliver an effective service • Full Clean Driving License Personal Attributes • Positive, approachable and open to feedback • Committed to social inclusion and equity • Able to inspire and support others • Organised, reliable and values-driven • Adaptable and proactive in problem-solving
