Location - We fully support flexible working, from our superb offices in Holborn and from home.  We do require staff
to spend 20% of their time in the office.  This is subject to role requirements.

About the role

The Royal College of Surgeons, intercollegiate body is looking for someone to support the work of the Data and
Systems Manager. Coordinating intercollegiate surgical examinations for the four Surgical Royal Colleges in the UK
and Ireland. Oversees candidate data, test-centre logistics, and result consolidation, ensuring accuracy, quality
assurance, and efficient processes to maintain the integrity of surgical education and professional standards. They will
liaise with software providers, ensure data accuracy, support quality assurance, and provide statistical input for
reports. The role will maintain CRM integration and collaborate effectively to uphold high standards in examination
delivery.

Responsibilities

•  Coordinate intercollegiate surgical examinations across the four Surgical Royal Colleges.
•  Manage test-centre logistics and liaise with delivery partners.
•  Prepare candidate lists and ensure accurate database uploads.
•  Consolidate examination results and support quality assurance processes.
•  Analyse candidate and question performance, providing statistical input for reports.
•  Maintain effective data systems and CRM integration for all exam-related information.

About you

•  Strong experience with databases, large datasets, and Microsoft Excel.
•  Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
•  High level of numeracy and attention to detail.
•  Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
•  Office experience including report and spreadsheet preparation.
