The role is leading the Give it a Go Waterfall Walk on the 19th of October. You will also need to attend a short (approximately 30 min) briefing and a debriefing (approx. 15 mins) in the SU in the days before & after the trip. This can be arrange at a mutually convenient time between yourself and the Give it a Go coordinator.

Commitment

• The meeting point and location for the briefing/debriefings is the Student Union (Cathays). Transport to the Waterfall Walk is provided
• Leading the Give it a Go Waterfall Walk
• Welcome students on board, make clear announcements to a large group, and provide essential trip information
• Responsible for health and safety on the trip
• Responsibility for management of GIAG volunteers on the trip
• First aid if needed
• Giving a safety briefing to all students on the trip
• To facilitate the return of walkie talkies, first aid kit and documentation to Give it a Go
• Build friendly connections with attendees while maintaining professional boundaries
• Follow the trip leading procedures at all times
