Celebrating Shakespeare is at the heart of everything we do.

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust as Development Manager focussed on Grants & Trusts and be part of our passionate and dynamic Development department.

In this role you will be responsible for securing income from grant-making trusts and foundations for a variety of exciting projects and to sustain and grow the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust’s work. Your efforts will directly contribute to supporting revenue, the success and growth of the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, and lay groundwork for future capital funding.

You will bring a tenacious spirit with an understanding and willingness to manage a prospect portfolio of around 100 organisations by the end of your first year. This is an exciting moment to be part of the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust. With a renewed vision and ambitious plans for the future, we warmly welcome those who want to join us on our journey and help shape the next chapter of Shakespeare’s story.
