Job Description
Make a Real Difference – Join Our Team as a Team Leader in Wingrave
Are you ready for the next step in your career? Do you have a passion for helping children thrive and reach their full potential? We’re expanding our team at our residential children’s home in Wingrave and are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader to join us.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting children with learning disabilities and/or autism, working alongside a passionate team and a supportive Registered Manager.
What the Role Involves
Each day brings new moments of discovery, connection, and growth. You’ll lead and inspire a small, close-knit team supporting five amazing children who share a home together. Your leadership will help create a warm, nurturing environment where every child feels valued, safe, and encouraged to express themselves.
You’ll provide guidance and mentoring to your team, helping them find creative, person-centred ways to engage with the children. You’ll also work closely with families, social workers, and other professionals to make sure each young person’s support plan truly reflects their individual needs, interests, and goals.
Our children each have their own unique strengths and personalities. At times, they may communicate through behaviours that challenge, but with the support of our experienced team and your dedicated Frontline Manager, you’ll develop positive approaches built on trust, empathy, and consistency.
You’ll also provide respectful, hands-on support with personal care, always promoting dignity, choice, and independence in every aspect of daily life.
About the Role
Full-time position, 38 hours per week- including days, weekends and bank holidays.
Opportunity to develop leadership and management skills
A rewarding role where no two days are ever the same
Please note: We are currently unable to offer sponsorships while we await further guidance from the Home Office. Applications requiring sponsorship cannot be considered at this time. We appreciate your understanding.
