We are looking for an experienced I.T professional to work as part of support services the postholder will be responsible for the development and maintenance of ICT systems within the Trust, oversee system installation and back up and ensure systems operate effectively to provide the ICT technology infrastructures which enable the Trust to deliver its overall strategic objectives. Dealing with a variety of ICT tasks in a diverse and busy internal and external environment.

Th e Role

  • Evaluate user needs and system functionality ensuring that ICT resources are appropriate to facilitate the progression of the organisation.
  • To guide the trust in its move to Sharepoint and away from physical servers.
  • Ensure telecommunications both physical and mobile are working effectively and are fit for purpose.
  • To liaise with finance in establishing the ICT budget, ensuring resources are managed and projects are delivered within budgets to achieve outputs and meet targets, utilising the trusts computerised business management system. Liaise with finance and manage the budget.
  • Ensure system maintenance and security are appropriate and current to protect the information necessary for the successful operation of the business and maintain legal compliance.
