This exciting role will give the successful candidate the opportunity to work within CACT’s Research and Development Team on the design, development, monitoring and evaluation of CACT’s programmes; ensuring that the aims, impact and learning of our service are clearly understood and accurately communicated within and outside the Trust to all stakeholders.
Main Duties:
The post holder will be required to perform the following duties:
· To produce quarterly monitoring reports for the relevant strand(s)/programmes in line with the outcomes and requirements developed and established with funders.
· To understand how the database systems operate and provide progress updates for programme managers.
· To support the Head of Research and Development on the development and review of data capturing systems that allow progress against the agreed outcomes to be measured.
· To develop monitoring processes within CACT, including establishing indicators and collecting additional information for measuring impact, and ensuring that delivery staff and programme managers are capturing the required data and meeting the set quality standards.
· To assist in collecting, collating and interpreting all qualitative and quantitative monitoring data and to conduct interviews, focus groups and/or field visits to relevant programmes in order to capture additional information and to identify areas for improvement.
· To analyse data generated by the monitoring and evaluation process, and then support the production of management information for programme managers, directors and trustees that measures performance against agreed outcomes and targets.
· To support the Head of Research and Development in the production of data, analysis and reporting on the impact of CACT’s work to be included in the organisation’s annual report, and any other impact reports, that is suitable for a variety of internal and external audiences.
· To generate data for reports to donors or supporters, or in the production of funding applications and bids.
· To develop automated dashboards using Power BI and any other relevant tools, linking different systems together and synthesising complex data so that real time updates on projects’ impact and performance can be provided to Trustees, managers and key stakeholders in a visual and accurate manner.
· To work alongside the Research and Development team and the relevant programme managers, delivery staff and partners.
· To undertake such other responsibilities as directed by the Head of Research and Development
