As our Front End Developer, you will be an experienced software developer and problem solver with an excellent track record implementing delightful user experiences. You will build web applications for use by our staff and the people who access our services. The software you build will elevate the performance of our services and contribute to better outcomes for the people we serve. The software products you deliver will be critical in helping Family Action deliver successful services that impact hundreds of thousands of children and families across the UK each year.

Main Responsibilities:
• Create intuitive and feature-rich web applications for staff and service users
• Implement responsive user interfaces in React/Next.js
• Style applications using TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and organisational branding
• Utilise insights from user analytics and behaviour tracking tools
• Implement automated UI testing
Main Requirements (for details check the job description and person specification):
• Significant experience developing web applications for internal teams and external customers
• Proven experience building complex web applications with Next.js
• Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern React including Hooks, Context API, Server and Client Components
• Ability to implement best practices in usability, accessibility and inclusive design
