Kids is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Sessional Workers to join our Wellbeing Team in Bridlington. In this role, you’ll support disabled children and young people to attend our weekly wellbeing sessions and take part in exciting trips — helping them to learn, grow, and thrive in a fun and supportive environment.
This is a truly meaningful position where every day you’ll make a positive impact on the lives of young people. You’ll be joining a friendly, passionate team that’s dedicated to inclusion, wellbeing, and empowerment.
Our sessions primarily run on Mondays during term time, with additional activities and trips offered throughout the school holidays. Hours are flexible to suit your lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities
- Support young people to participate fully in wellbeing sessions and planned trips.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that encourages growth and confidence.
- Follow safeguarding, health, and safety procedures to ensure the wellbeing of all participants.
- Provide personal care and assistance where required, maintaining dignity and respect at all times.
- Prepare snacks and light meals to support the smooth running of sessions.
- Participate in training and induction, working alongside experienced and supportive colleagues.
- Contribute to a positive team culture where everyone’s ideas and efforts are valued.
