We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Administrator to join our team in Ashford, providing vital business administration support to services across Ashford and the wider East Kent region. Our services deliver psychosocial interventions, clinical interventions, and accredited treatment programmes for individuals experiencing drug and alcohol problems.

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth administration of the service, carrying out a range of duties including secretarial support, data entry, and maintaining monitoring systems. You will also contribute to the achievement of targets set by Forward and local commissioners, with a particular focus on measuring outcomes. Building positive working relationships with partner agencies – such as clinical teams – will be essential to your success.

Flexibility is important, as you may occasionally be required to cover other sites within East Kent. The role requires someone who can manage multiple tasks at once, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to teams across East Kent.
  • Accurately input and monitor data, ensuring systems are up to date.
  • Collate and report on statistical information with precision.
  • Support colleagues with secretarial tasks, correspondence, and record-keeping.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical teams and external partner agencies.
  • Contribute to service targets and outcome measurement.

About You
We are seeking someone who can demonstrate:

  • Intermediate certification (or equivalent experience) in Microsoft Office packages (Essential).
  • At least 9 months’ experience providing administrative support within a large team, with the ability to work in a pressured environment (Essential).
  • Experience developing, implementing, or maintaining large databases (Essential).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels (Essential).
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently on correspondence and tasks (Essential).
  • Experience of working with sensitive data in a confidential or secure environment (Desirable).
  • Experience working with data relating to drug and alcohol treatment (Desirable).
