The Regional Organiser is lead bargainer with a range of public, private, community and voluntary sector employers and negotiating bodies and holds overall responsibility for developing the union’s organising strategy and public policy campaigns with branches in their area.
The successful candidates will have a proven track record in senior level negotiations; have knowledge of and/or experience of UNISON Rule and compliance matters; have a track record of successful strategic union organising; and experience in handling the media – including TV, radio and social media. The post holders will also represent members within an agreed framework.
