About the Role

Are you passionate about supporting communities and helping parishes thrive? We are looking for a Regular Giving Officer to join our Office of Fundraising and Stewardship. This role is key to promoting and developing regular giving across parishes, ensuring sustainable income for vital parish activities.

You will manage the administration and processes for parish fundraising initiatives, including Planned Giving Drives, contactless giving, and digital fundraising. You’ll also support wider digital activities and help parishes embrace innovative ways to give.

  • Coordinate and support Planned Giving Drivesin around 40 parishes annually.
  • Prepare financial data and create template materials for parish campaigns.
  • Build strong relationships with parish priests and finance committees.
  • Oversee contactless giving devices, troubleshoot technical issues, and encourage uptake.
  • Monitor and report on income from digital and contactless giving.
  • Assist with wider fundraising activities, events, and donor communications.
  • Ensure compliance with Gift Aid,GDPR, and fundraising regulations.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Organised and proactive, with strong time management skills.
  • A team playerwho is confident, reliable, and self-motivated.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Officeand comfortable with digital tools.
  • Able to interpret financial information and maintain accurate records.
  • Flexible to attend parish meetings and occasional evening/weekend events.

Desirable:

  • Experience in fundraising or parish settings.
  • Knowledge of Gift Aid and charity fundraising regulations.
  • Creative skills for producing campaign materials.

Experience working in a faith-based or charitable setting is welcome but not essential.
