BDS are recruiting for an experienced Housing Support Officer for a social justice charity based in Southend

Working hours are 35 hours a week

This is a temp to perm opportunity

Late and early shifts pattens. 8–4pm and 2–10pm

Pay rate of GBP14.61ph PAYE, GBP19.28ph Umbrella

We are searching for Housing Support Worker for young people within the Southend area.

You will also need to be able to help Residents with applying for Housing Benefits and paying rent etc.
To ensure properties are meeting expected standards in terms of repair and cleanliness you will need a sharp attention to detail to ensure that the houses are clean, tidy and all repairs are reported and actioned.
You will be allocated a number of properties to manage, working as part of a larger team to deliver the service across your region.

Advantageous;

Experience within social housing and knowledge of Support Planning and welfare benefits/ universal credit

You will need to be a driver with access to a vehicle

You will need an enhanced Adult DBS, less than 12 months old or registered on the update service, already in place prior to applying for this position
