GR2 - BREAKDOWN OF TASKS AND BENEFITS OH Screening Technician - FULL TIME Must Have Previous Experience Breakdown of expectations • Provision of OH services for clients, mostly in the West Midlands, along with some clinics at our office in West Bromwich. There will be a requirement to travel further afield on occasion and this may involve an overnight stay. • Undertake screening activities at client sites, including Audiometry, Respiratory health, Tier 1 & 2 HAVS assessments, skin assessments and other types of medical evaluation. This list is not exhaustive. • Up to 40 hours per week, some of which could be evening or night visits. • 3 Week structured induction programme, shadowing experienced practitioners in real life settings. • Must hold a manual driving licence. There will be a need to drive one of our mobile screening units (less than 3.5 tons). • Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft products, with particular focus on Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePoint. • The role will also involve the use of our OH management systems, so data entry and other simple database tasks will also be required, and applicants should be aware that equipment such as spirometers and audiometers are also software based. • Possessing some type of certificate of competence or qualification in the use of computers and/or Microsoft products will be a distinct advantage. Annual Leave. • 33 days annual leave (including 8 Bank Holidays) from 1st January – 31st December, pro rata for part time hours • Concessionary days off between Christmas and New Year. MOHS closes 23rd December and re opens on the first working day after New Year (these days do not form part of your annual leave entitlement). External courses may be considered according to business needs. • Monthly Clinical supervision session, which are nurse led. • Monthly advisor/Technician meetings to keep staff informed of business activity.
