About this job

We target audiences including UNISON members, potential members, the public, politicians, employers and other key influencers as we strive to deliver real change and improvements to public services.

We are looking for a talented and motivated graphic designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating dynamic visual content that communicates our brand and message across multiple platforms whilst maintaining consistency and high-quality standards. You will work with colleagues at all levels of the union to design and develop content that promotes the union’s key campaigns, benefits and priorities.

You will create, develop and design graphics across digital and print media including advertisements, social media, websites and campaign materials.

  • Maintain a consistent visual style across all platforms ensuring design aligns with the organisation’s brand identity and goals.
  • A solid understanding of design production – delivering graphics, typography and illustration to a high standard with expertise in print production being essential.
  • Keep updated on design trends and best practices and being keen to learn, grow and develop new skills.
