Looking for a Sales Assistant role with a difference?

What you’ll do: 

Support the Shop Manager and Assistant Shop Manager in the effective day-to-day running of the charity shop

Process stock, sorting, pricing, and effective merchandising to maintain high shop standards and maximise sales

Support volunteers ensuring they feel valued and engaged

Provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere and excellent customer service for all customers and donors

Ensure accurate cash handling, use of the till and security of stock in line with procedures

Promoting the charity’s values and fundraising initiatives in the local community

What you’ll need: 

  • Great customer service and communication skills
  • Confidence handling money and stock in a busy retail environment
  • A friendly, approachable attitude and team spirit
  • Flexibility to work weekends and cover shifts as needed
  • Retail experience is helpful, but full training will be given
  • A passion for sustainability and supporting local communities
