Looking for a way to give back and make a difference in your community? Join us as a Volunteer in our Ystrad Mynach Day Hospice and help create a warm, welcoming environment for patients visiting the Day Hospice. Whether you're retired, studying, or simply want to give your time for a good cause, we’d love to hear from you!
This volunteer role is required for support every Monday (excluding Bank holidays) between the hours of 10am - 2pm weekly.
What you'll be doing-
· Greeting and welcoming patients with a friendly, professional manner
· Assisting with refreshments and food.
· Helping with activities.
· Chatting with the patients.
Who we’re looking for? You don’t need to have loads of experience—we’ll support you along the way.
· A people person who is friendly and compassionate and makes others feel welcome.
