We’re recruiting for a confident Female Support Worker to join our team in Stowmarket. This is a 25-hour vacancy, working across two supported living flats, with flexibility to float across other homes locally when needed.
You’ll support two incredible women with vastly different personalities and needs. One is turning 30 and loves festivals, fossils, and funky outfits. She’s bright, musical, and thrives on structure but needs support with personal care, cooking, and managing epilepsy, anxiety, and ADHD. Creative support and clear boundaries are key.
The other woman is in her early 40s and lives with schizophrenia, autism, and a mild learning disability. She’s polite, private, and a joy to support but her mental health can fluctuate, and she may experience distress, paranoia, or shifts in trust. You’ll help her feel safe, maintain routines, and enjoy the things she loves; animals, photography, cream teas, stately homes, and pamper days. She needs support with personal care, medication, and meal preparation.
This is an experienced-only role, with a mix of early, late, and long-day shifts. Sleep-ins (minimum two per week), weekends, and occasional waking nights may be required. You’ll receive full training and ongoing support to help both women live life on their terms.
At Dimensions, we’re proud to be one of the UK’s Best Workplaces. Join us and make a real difference every day.
