Sunnyside Rural Trust (SRT) are looking to recruit a Community Wellbeing Coordinator Hours: Part-time hours between 9-4pm for up to 17hrs / week Salary: Starting at £25,000- £28,000pa (Pro rata) We are seeking an empathic and creative person to run wellbeing sessions, supporting small groups of people with learning disabilities, autism and mild mental health needs across our sites in Dacorum. You will be working as part of a small team funded by The Lottery Community Fund to help build people’s confidence, self-esteem and sense of purpose, through structured sessions in cooking, gardening and other interests, with a view to opening up future opportunities for people. The ideal candidate will have: - At least two years’ experience of working with vulnerable adults in any setting. - Previous experience or training in delivering therapeutic sessions in whatever form. - An enjoyment of supporting people to reach their potential and an ability to manage in a supportive and inspirational way. - Excellent interpersonal & communication skills and ability to adapt to people’s varying needs. - The ability to organise sessions and work independently as well as part of a team. - Ability to monitor and review people’s progress & on-going wellbeing. - Passions, interests and enthusiasm to share with others. Additional requirements include practical IT skills, valid driving license and able to drive our minibuses work vehicles.
