As a hospice charity, Weldmar Hospicecare’s Inpatient Unit, and other sites, require the highest standards of cleanliness.

As a Hotel Services Assistant, you will primarily be responsible for following cleaning schedules in areas such as patient wards and family areas, offices, catering facilities and Orangery restaurant, making sure that infection prevention guidelines are followed.

We are looking for an individual with a positive and flexible approach, as the role includes a variety of tasks across both Housekeeping and Catering.

Ideally, you’ll have proven work experience in hospitality or healthcare establishment, and have a good customer service ethos with the ability to work with sensitivity, tact and discretion around patients.

You should have, or be prepared to work towards, BICS license to practice, CIEH accredited food hygiene level 2 or higher, and have knowledge of infection prevention principles. Training for basic IT skills is available.

A Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check is required.
