One Wales: Young Women's Keyworker

Salary: £25,000pa to £27,000pa
At The Nelson Trust, we are committed to delivering exceptional services that make a tangible difference in the lives of people. One Wales is an innovative service aimed at providing engagement, support and diversion for young women (17-25) who maybe at risk of entering the Criminal Justice System, including at first contact within police custody.
The One Wales is a partnership between Nelson Trust, Media Academy Cymru, PACT, and BtheChange dedicated to reducing reoffending and diverting people into appropriate support at the earliest opportunity.
As a Keyworker you will offer gender-responsive, trauma informed practical and emotional support and interventions to address needs with housing, substance misuse, health, finance, previous trauma, children & families and education, training and employment with the aim of reducing social harms and re-offending whilst empowering women to access opportunities to reach their full potential.
Due to the nature of the work carried out in our Women’s Centres this role is restricted to female applicants only in accordance with the provisions of the occupational requirement (Equality Act 2010, pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1).
