About the Role
As Team Manager, you will lead the day-to-day running of Tower House in Chester, a 24-hour supported housing service dedicated to supporting individuals with mental health needs. You will play a key role in ensuring our recovery-focused service is delivered to the highest standard, overseeing staff, maintaining service delivery quality, and ensuring positive outcomes for the people we support. This is a varied, hands-on leadership role that combines team development, operational management and direct involvement in service improvement.
What You’ll Do

Managing daily operations to ensure high-quality support for residents

Leading, supervising and developing frontline staff

Coordinating service contracts and ensuring compliance standards

Organising building maintenance and health & safety requirements

Delivering inductions, managing performance, and supporting staff wellbeing

Conducting investigations and producing reports where required

Supporting business development and continuous service improvement

Participating in on-call rota arrangements
To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need:

Strong background supporting individuals with complex mental health needs
-
Proven caseload management and team-leadership experience
-
Inclusive, supportive management style with strong communication skills
-
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively

Flexible approach to work and ability to respond to service demands

Experience in investigations, report-writing or budget management is desirable, but not essential as full training and induction provided
Please note: There will be an expectation to work nights and weekends when required, in line with service needs.
A driving licence is not essential, however you must be able to travel and access remote locations when required.

Aquarius is a subsidiary of Waythrough. Aquarius is a Midlands-based charity supporting individuals to overcome the harms caused by drugs, alcohol and gambling. Aquarius has always held the view that people we support could resolve their problems with support and guidance and that people have the ability to find their own solutions to their problems.
