Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation for Disabled People (QEF) is a national disability charity working with over 10,000 disabled children and adults every year. Based in Leatherhead, Surrey, our Engagement and Partnerships team plays a crucial role in enabling this life-changing work — and we are looking for an exceptional Senior Trusts Executive, to join our team.
THE ROLE
As a key member of the Philanthropy and Trusts team, you will lead on raising vital income from charitable trusts and foundations — through compelling, creative, and strategically aligned funding proposals. You will manage and grow a portfolio of existing funders, revive lapsed relationships, and identify new funding opportunities across QEF’s services.
You’ll be responsible for:
• Leading trust fundraising, targeting both restricted and unrestricted income.
• Writing and submitting persuasive funding bids and tailored proposals.
• Managing a pipeline of trusts and foundations to ensure income targets are met (£450k with ambition to grow to £600k+).
• Developing excellent donor stewardship, including delivering impactful reporting.
• Working closely with teams across QEF to build engaging funding cases.
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting through our CRM (Raiser’s Edge).
• Line managing volunteers supporting trust fundraising activities.

ABOUT YOU
You’re a strategic, relationship-driven fundraiser with:
• A strong track record of securing income from charitable trusts and foundations.
• Excellent bid writing skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas simply and persuasively.
• Experience managing donor pipelines and CRM databases (ideally Raiser’s Edge).
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A proactive and innovative mindset, always looking for new opportunities.
• Passion for the work of QEF and the people we support.
