Stoke City Community Trust
Clayton Wood Training Ground
Part-time

Stoke City Football Club of the English Football League is looking for Host Families to accommodate young players between the ages of 13-21 years.

Homes need to be located within a close proximity to the Clayton Wood Training Ground (ST4 6NB) in order for the players to have easy access to this location.

Hosts are encouraged to include young players in family life and young players are expected to respect their Host Family’s way of life. Both hosts and young players are given guidelines explaining what is expected of them.

All our Host Families are regularly visited and inspected by the Academy Safeguarding Officer and are required to provide satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check.

In return the Club will provide the Host Family with a payment as well as the necessary training to ensure they understand the needs of an elite athlete.

This organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults at risk and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Background checks and DBS checks at the appropriate level will be obtained prior to you commencing the role.

If you are interested in finding out more information about the Host Family scheme then please contact Wayne Taylor (Academy Safeguarding Officer) by emailing Wayne.Taylor@stokecityfc.com.
