We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Centre Coordinator to play a central role in the running of the centre. If you are passionate about community engagement, excellent at administration, and thrive in a people-focused environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Role Overview
The Centre Coordinator will act as the hub of PMCH’s operations, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the centre. This role combines administrative efficiency with community outreach, requiring someone who can both keep the centre organised and connect meaningfully with people.
You will be the first point of contact for visitors, creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere while managing key administrative tasks to support the centre’s activities. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to represent PMCH in the local area, building relationships with community groups and partners to strengthen our impact.

  • Maintain accurate records of centre activities, attendance, and community engagement.
  • Handle enquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing timely and helpful responses.
  • Coordinate financial administration tasks, such as managing invoices and petty cash, in collaboration with the board or treasurer.
  • Work closely with the board to prepare reports and updates on centre usage and community impact.
Community Engagement
  • Act as the friendly, approachable face of PMCH, greeting visitors and ensuring they feel welcome.
  • Develop relationships with local community groups, charities, and businesses to foster partnerships and collaboration.
  • Represent PMCH at local events, forums, and meetings to raise awareness of the centre’s services and mission.
  • Promote the centre’s programmes and opportunities through social media, newsletters, and other communication channels.
  • Work with the local community to identify new ways PMCH can meet their needs and grow its outreach efforts.
Additional Duties
  • Assist with planning and running events, workshops, and activities.
  • Support the recruitment and management of volunteers as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the centre, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, including email, spreadsheets, and basic database management.
  • A welcoming and inclusive approach, ensuring everyone feels valued and respected.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Skills and Experience
