Required for Sizewell Project, Suffolk - Hybrid role

Salary: £28,720 - £29,562

The position:

We are seeking to appoint an experienced administrator to assist on our Sizewell project. This role is offered on a hybrid basis, with requirements to be on site 3 days a week.

Duties:

  • Liaising with Project Managers and Project Officers to ensure that Allocation Sheets are submitted.
  • Reviewing the consolidated Allocation Sheet to determine any inconsistent data and clarifying with Project Managers and Project Officers.
  • Advising Project Managers and Project Officers of corrections.
  • Scanning and filing documents generated at site.
  • Providing back up to the Office Administrator for booking inductions and organising temporary worker and visitor passes.
  • Undertaking administrative tasks associated with office operations and in support of the fieldwork team.
  • Supporting and liaising with the relevant Project Officers or Senior Project Managers and with the OA Teams as appropriate.
  • Working with regard to Health and Safety in relation to the relevant documentation including Risk Assessments.
  • Undertaking delegated tasks from the Management Team and Office Administrator.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively, and liaise with clients, suppliers, visitors and colleagues at all levels.
  • Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively within a reactive environment.
  • Ability to work with a high standard of accuracy and high level of confidentiality.
  • Pragmatic approach to problem solving and decision making, and ability to use initiative.
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently, ideally with experience of line management of a team.
  • Experienced user of MS Word and Excel, and a confident user of ICT.
  • Experience of facilities/office management including compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
  • Full driving licence.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in a similar industry - including site work, plant and welfare.
  • Previous experience in project/operations administration or logistics work.
