- Tutorial Administrator (part-time)

Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, is advertising a position within the Tutorial Office for a part-time administrator (2 days a week) based at the College. This is a 1 Year Fixed-Term Contract role commencing January 2026.
The Tutorial Office is a small, friendly community that is proud of its tradition of excellence in the management of the academic administration and of outstanding welfare services for the College’s student members. The work is wide-ranging and requires a strong ability to prioritise and organise a variety of tasks. Applicants must thrive in a busy environment and be both self-motivated and good team players. They should be flexible and enthusiastic; able to distil large and complex amounts of information into succinct and clear guidance for Tutors and students, and be able to handle confidential information with sensitivity and common sense.
Ideally, applicants would have knowledge of the processes associated with Student Finance England and Cambridge bursaries; experience using CamSIS and CamCORS; and have worked with undergraduate exchange students.
Applicants for this post will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines is essential, along with a calm, methodical approach and a keen eye for detail. The use of spreadsheets, online databases and a variety of software is central to the work of the Tutorial Office, so applicants should be able to use these confidently.
Flexibility in hours is important at certain times of year, as overtime may be required occasionally at weekends, evenings or Bank Holidays. Time off in lieu will be given.

- Bedmaker/Cleaner

Corpus Christi College has a vacancy for 1 full time Bedmaker, 37.5 hours per week. Main duties involve daily cleaning of rooms, offices, toilets, and staircases. Applicants must have experience in a hotel, college or similar environment and will be able to demonstrate excellent cleaning skills including knowledge of chemical handling. A vocational qualification is also desirable. There will be some weekend working required.
You will be reporting to the Deputy Housekeeping Manager and will be part of a team of 24 staff, 7 of whom work at Leckhampton House the post-graduate site and the remaining at Old House for the under graduates. You will be working both on your own and within your team to provide a first-class cleaning service for the College.
Applicants must have the ability to work on their own in student & learning environment, be conscientious, hardworking, and reliable. There will a certain amount of climbing of staircases and carrying bulky items as well as busy conference periods. Flexibility is key to being successful in this role.
