It's an exciting time as Sense as we now have an opportunity for a Support Worker to join our wonderful home in Glastonbury. 

The home is surrounded by the Somerset countryside with links to the major towns of Bristol, Bath and Taunton.

Glastonbury is a lovely vibrant town with lots of attractions, making this an ideal work base for those who like adventure – as do the people we support.

This is a permanent role, working 28.5 hours per week. Shifts are varied across 7 days, include regular sleep ins and can be discussed further at interview.

We are offering an hourly rate from £12.50 with enhanced rates for overtime and annual pay reviews/ rises. A fantastic work environment to develop yourself in the care sector, and even for a first time support worker!

Please note, this role may include regular sleep-in shifts which are paid as an additional allowance. (This means sleeping over at the residence, with the possibility you might have to wake up to provide care in the night.)

For genuine occupational reasons we are looking to appoint a female candidate only (exemption under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9).

A full UK Driver's License is essential for this role, and you must be willing to drive the service vehicle.
